Chemistry

About the Department

Department of Chemistry was established during the inception of the institute in 1951. Department of Chemistry is handling Engineering Chemistry (Theory & Practical) for classes of I & II Semester Engineering (all branches) and Guiding the projects to M.Sc., Students. Department produces very high percentage of results every year and maintaining the figure at almost 90-100%.The Department has two Permanent Faculties constituting Associate Professors with Ph.D., degree. Faculty members in the Department with their vast experience in teaching for BE, M.Tech., and M.Sc., students and are able to guide the students effectively in their studies.

Mission

To feed the budding engineers with finer aspects of science which make them to understand, exploit and innovate, thus contributing to the future technological advancements.

Vision

To inform the students of the latest development in science so that they can exploit it for development of technology.

To promote the applied chemistry knowledge and success of our students through excellence in teaching. To create a progressive environment where learning paves the way for thought and thoughts lead to higher levels of learning.
