The department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was started in the year 1972. The department was accredited by NBA The Department has well qualified high experienced dedicated Teaching & Non Teaching staff. The department is imparting quality engineering education to the students through the well established infrastructure and Laboratories. The department has been recognized as Research centre and offers Ph.D and MSc (Engineering) programmes under VTU.

Analyze and solve problems in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and develop electronics and communication systems to meet the societal needs.
PEO2: To exhibit their innovative ideas and management skills to solve the day to day technical problems.
PEO3: To build leadership qualities, management skills, communication skills,moral values, team spirit, research skills and lifelong learning ability therebybridging the gap between Academia and Industry.
M1: To impart excellence knowledge and enrich the problem solving skills in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering, capable of contributing to the societal and industry needs.
